This young stud superbly exemplifies the Welsh mountain pony. He boasts a beautiful shoulder, large eyes, small
ears, dished face, and floats across the ground in a breathtaking trot. King also has some of the best, fine, old
blood. He is a cross between Tlywyth and Rosmel’s breeding, and was bred in the purple to be a winner at
whatever discipline you choose for him to do! Not only does he have stunning conformation and bloodlines to
match, but he also has the icing on the cake: he is a confirmed cremello with the silver gene, tested by UC Davis.
Cremellos can create all of the flashy, in-demand colors such as buckskin, smoky black, and palominos. The silver
gene is a rare gene that dilutes the black based coat to create incredible colors. Just look at his full brother
Primrose Sterling! [see Ponies for Sale - 2] The silver gene is confirmed only in a hand full of Welsh ponies in the world,
and there is only one other cremello silver Welsh mountain pony confirmed in the world! And it gets even better:

What a mover this guy is! Lakota’s floating trot brings all four hooves off the ground in
suspended animation for magnificent movement! This gorgeous palomino roan colt has the
conformation to make an excellent sports pony for showing or breeding. He is registered as
half Welsh due to a mix up in his dam’s papers; however he is full Welsh and it plainly
shows. He has a beautiful dished face, with large eyes, small ears, short back, full hip, and
perfect legs. He has superb color, with lots of chrome to set him off! No judge will ever
overlook him! Lakota’s full brother, Primrose Ross Dakota, has been judged half Welsh
Grand Champion! [see Ponies Sold] He will be a winner in whatever discipline you choose for
him: halter, driving, jumping – all he needs is the chance. The picture above right is of his
first time jumping and he was spectacular! He cleared the jump effortlessly, forward
motion and tucked his legs underneath him nicely. Lakota has been in the round pen
multiple times, knows the signals, and will follow you. He runs to the gate to be caught,
and has a very sweet temperament.
